I do not wish for Thanksgiving to be eclipsed by Black Friday malarkey or by Christmas in general. Not that The Lord's birthday isn't a big deal!
Lets take at least one Day to consider some of the things we should give thanks for.
The love of family, sweethearts & friends. Salvation, Challenging, interesting work, snug warm homes. Cars that work, Sunshine, Naps, Liquor, Warm kisses & strong hugs, Peaceful sleepin', Freedom, Liberty, Vacation! The Blue Angels, Whoopee cushions, Coffee, Chicken fried steak & eggs, Music, the fun & relaxation of making models,
The Men & Women of The Service. Guarding our shores and blowing away the Bad Guys, both foreign & domestic.
Our Veterans, for having blown away the Bad Guys, both foreign & domestic and survived to return Home.
Our beautiful Country. So many awe-inspiring sights to see. So many other Americans to meet & laugh with.
That's all I have to say about that.
