Christian Lacroix

Hey I'm glad to have that good looking couple on the front page classin' up the place.

Congrats Chris, now you have your own personal forum to fill up with tidbits of knowledge. :popcorn

I've always been impressed with your work, but your back story adds an entire new dimension to my respect.

A well deserved nod to your skill, looking forward to seeing more of your work.

I sure am glad I get to know the humble and quite humorous man that is Christian Lacroix (please don't ask me to pronounce that last name!). Your skills are nothing short of amazing...looking forward to another trip soon!

Congratulations, Christian! It is well deserved. I am glad that you decided to move to Texas so you could be among like-minded modelers (I may be somewhat biased about that since I live in Texas).

Welcome aboard!
Cheers,
James

Sorry for the late reply you guys . Falling on Easter found me unable to accept any words of praise .
Reading the Bible truly humbles me but it does not stop there .

So many have done so much to provide us with the things we have today is hard to comprehend .

Difficult for me to accept this position for doing nothing harder than having a good time playing with plastic and posting a few pictures.

To be honest, it feels uncomfortable as so many of you have so much talent on display

I hope that whatever you find in my thread keeps you interested . I will be glad to attempt to answer any question that you may have about my builds but bare in mind that everything is a moving target as I keep searching for better solutions.

Thank you for the honor. It is truly humbling . Cheers, Christian B)

Thanks James I had previously spent a couple of short assignments in Texas . This time after all my worldly belonging got packed and sent to Panama city , FL. my family and I found ourselves diverted to Lubbock , TX .
Hardly a place I would consider close to the ocean .
I did really enjoy the modeling crowd there and it's a good thing since there's not much else to do there besides dodging tumble weeds .
The yearly Fort Worth meet was awesome . Best I ever attended (y) and you're not far.

Cheers, Christian B)

Thanks Bob. Hope every one has noticed that I'm the one with the tie :) The other is my wonderful partner and supporter Lisa .

You're right about the tidbits . 72 scale does not take up a lot of room :)

Thank you Mr. Bob Mike , Bob , James, Dave ,Jose , Sherman , Ausf , Jeves , Luiz and SA Davefor the encouragement. I will try to not disappoint you.

I would greatly appreciate you not inventing a new word . They have all been tried many time before . I doubt you could top some of those .
Cheers, Christian :rotf
