Italeri Water truck in 1/35

I didn’t take a dated start picture, so no ribbon today (or ever). This went together with no real problems. The ladder frame is made up of the two sides and a number of cross pieces. I made a jig (sorry no pictures) to insure that the side rails were flat and parallel. It appears to have worked. When assembled, it sits with all the wheels touching the ground. I replaced the grab handles and the side mirror with 1/64” music wire. I painted it with Tamiya acrylics progressively lightened. The modulation contrast seems a little high, but in my limited experience, it seems that it drops down with the weathering. I have left it in sub-assemblies to ease painting and weathering. (Frame and cab, spare tire, and tank w/ fenders).
That’s about it.

Thanks for looking,

Bill

My apologies to Whitewolf for jumping in here with the same model. Sorry Laurence.
