Didn't finish anything*

I can't believe I didn't "finish" anything. :idonno
I started 3 more. (Stuart M5, B1 bis in German livery, and a flying thingy from a Hayao Miyazaki movie.)

I think I can still score a couple of ribbons before the 1/31/14 campaign cut-off. We will see. :hmmm

I did finish up my back yard accessory structure. AKA: "The office", "The shacky shack", "The swamp", "money hemorrhage",
"dog house", "model shop", and "man cave". Just shy of 120 sq.ft. No plumbing, but wired to beat the band. Barn door shutter on the window. Painted and detailed to match the house.

I have enjoyed the camaraderie here the past year, and am looking forward to sharing discoveries, models, and general humor with all of you fine fellows (and ladies) in the coming year(s).

Keep up the good work. Thanks to Bob and all the moderators (and masters) who keep things going behind the scenes. It's a thankless job, so "Thank you"! (There will be something for you in the diplomatic pouch from Russia   :hmmm  - ( ... No, ... no there won't)   ).

Happy new years one and all.

Cheers,

Bill

Sweet!

What scale is that?

Don't feel bad, the only thing I finished this year was starting new kits. Although it's just under 4 hours to go, I could still start something... :hmmm

I know. It looks tiny in this perspective. 10' x 12'.
It would be a different post if I had more room.
Space permitting I would build a model shop, wood shop, paint shop, metal shop Taj Mahal. :geek :drinks :soldier

Thanks for checking in,

Bill

Thanks Dave!

I wish it was summer here!
Wishing you all the best this holiday season! Happy new year!
Keep collecting those ribbons! (Wow!)

Cheers,

Bill

That's a dandy shack, Bill- and I'd give it credit for a finished project fershur! Happy New Year, Mr. Woodworker!

I like that shed. Very cozy looking doghouse. Almost gives you a reason to get in trouble  :D :rotf
James

Thanks Chuck!

Happy New Year to you!
It's nice to be acknowledged by someone you admire.
Keep up the great work.

Cheers,

Bill

Thanks James!

Happy New Year to you and your family.
Stay warm and keep modeling.

Bill

Build another one and we can call you "Two Sheds"!

I didn't finish anything either, still working on my life long project.

Tom

Thanks Tom!

Sadly, I'm out of backyard. Just going to be a bird bath and some flower bed for what's left.
Wishing you progress on your life long project!

Happy new year!

Bill

Very nice shed Bill (y) (y)
I didn't finnish so much either this year, busy with our son and house.
I wish for everyone a productive and creative 2014! It's not how much you finnish it's enjoying the way to the finnish!!

Rather have something from the diplomatic pouch from Jamaica mon.. :coolio

Really nice outhouse Bill :good:

You know I have a detached garage for my shop, the only draw back I have with it is it's a destination. I have to go out there. Having a model room in the house does not remove you from the goings on in the house you know. BUT, out there, you can generate all sorts of fumes and vapors that will not meet with any negative comments, just open the barn door! :rotf

You got heat and air out there? Oh yeah you in the SF Bay area, no need for that stuff right?

Looks great Bill...and Bob just answered my question about heating it. Here in the foothills of the Adirondacks, there would have to be a pellet stove in that baby.

Don't think of it as running out of back yard...think of it as less to mow!!!

I wonder how many will catch that Python reference Tom- OT Bill, I agree with Chuck- this should be counted as a completion. Thats a really cool little shed, though personally I would put a basin inside with hot and cold water, but that's the plumber in me talking! Don't feel bad, I didn't finish anything this year either (except a shelf) though i did manage to begin several things. BE good CR

Thanks, //Mats! Still having fun.
Thanks, Bob. I don't like being sequestered either. We'll see how it goes. Temps are pretty mild here year around. I have a small oil filled heater that works fine on the lowest setting, and a ceiling fan for the hand full of hot days. Cheers.
Thanks Mike. Nice work on your Blog.
Thanks kryptosdaddy. Just keep plugging away. Have a great 2014.

Cheers,

Bill
