Youtube rabbit holes

The Shuttleworth Hawker Demon was bought by Kermit Weeks of Fantasy of Flight:

He has been providing videos of the re-assembly and will fly over Florida!
When I grow up, I want to be Kermit Weeks. Not everyone brews their own rum to go specifically with orange juice!

It does make you realise we need to completely re think modern warfare where the most sophisticated weapons are so vulnerable to the least sophisticated weapons.

If you need reference for super detailing that B17 engine, engine ring and cowl and accessariers. Here's the training film.

That's Robert Taylor narrating.
Yes I watched the whole thing. I didn't know the earlier prop control regulator was cabled controlled. And if that joe put 375 ft lbs on that bolt on the engine mount he's freakin Hercules.

This might be a good video to watch, I do enjoy that sort of stuff but using AI image for your thumbnail only make me block your channel.

Yes, I hate AI imagery unless used to enhance a photo for the thumbnail. There are actual full AI-generated 'history' videos whose channels I despise.

To me it isn't the AI so much as the lack of fact checking, poor editing, and totally incorrect photos and videos that are mixed in. ( also poor editing, and checking the final product for accuracy.)
I also dislike the AI voicing on a lot of videos due to mispronounced words and incorrect choice and voicing. Wound being one of the worst offenders. Example: The wound got infected, or they wound the rope around his body. Both spelled the same but pronounced differently.

I once read about a red-head who would read books about wind instruments and the reeds used my a marching band whose flutists would lead in front of the lead footed bass drummers.
