Youtube rabbit holes

I watched this for the first time nearly a decade ago and still think it is the best animation drawn with digital ink. A great concept and just flat out entertaining to modellers and WW2 military enthusiasts.

 
Plenty of real WWI and replicas in this 1930 Howard Hughes movie: Hell's Angels.
  • Curtiss JN-4 "Jenny" (mocked up to resemble an Avro 504K
  • Sopwith Snipe (two but unflyable))
  • Sikorsky S-29-A (mocked up to resemble a German Gotha bomber)
  • Fokker D.VII
  • Thomas Morse S-4C Scout (mocked up to resemble Sopwith Camel)
  • Royal Aircraft Factory S.E.5a
  • Travel Air 2000 (mocked to look like a Fokker D.VII as the production only found 7 WWI planes)
  • Zeppelin R Class (model whose footage appears in other films as well)
 
I remember seeing that years ago. Still think when the guy threw his landing gear at ya might be best to just give him his space and break off.
