Wreaking Havoc 1: A-20B 41-3266(?) Outhouse Mouse with a Sharkmouth

I just finished watching a U-Tube video on the guy who created the B-25 Gunship /strafer while flying Havocs out of Darwin. Really interesting, as he initially loaded up his Havoc with 50 cal,s, as the .30 couldn't penetrate the armour on the Jap ship hulls. The 50's made the Havoc nose heavy and really hard to fly. The range was not very good either, so he switched to the B-25's. They had recieved C's and D's but operated better as a long range strafer at low level than the Havoc. Later they moved to the G, then the H and finally J's as a full production variant....which is the 1/32 kit I just bought.

Sorry saul - a bit of a side journey.
Be aware that the HK B-25 engines are rather "NOT RIGHT" For my kit I found that HPH put out some engines years ago and obtained a couple to do the engines up correctly. Unfortunately HPH stuff is not available any longer.
The B-25 used Wright R-2600 engines. The engines were also used on the TBM Avenger, and the SB2C Helldiver. Not sure if anyone is doing an aftermarket or good 3D print of the R-2600, but just be aware.

Verra, verra, verra NICE!

If you have the Monogram B-25H model, the Shep Paine insert covered how to make this crane. I also have actual dimensions, if needed. Nice display, wouldn't you say so, @moon puppy?

By the way, thanks as I now have the actual colors to use on the engines. A-20A on exercises.

Which do you think is new and which is old? I'd be incline to think the one under the tarp is new, you want to protect that carburetor throat from any fob.

I think the one under the tarp, which is a dirty engine, is being prepped for spares while the gantry is holding a pristine looking engine, even the wooden blocks below seem newer.
