WOW but time flies

I cant believe how fast time flies. Wife has been gone or a week and a half now and it only feels like a couple of days ago. I havent even had time to do any building. Then on my FB feed there is a memory from 11 years ago. I find it hard to believe its really been 11 years since I built this.

It will be Christmas before we can even blink.

That thing was a pretty bad mess. Got carried away with the oil staining.

That castor oil would sling everywhere, which is one reason the pilots of the rotary powered planes wore a scarf.
I saw a pic of one of the WWI planes from the Rhinbeck aerodrome museum after a flight. It was drenched in oil.

I actually love this build and think it is pretty spot -on with the oil - still looks tough! When I eventually do mine I plan to use yours as my ref.

I'm humbled Ian...I got another one in the stash. I gotta get to a state of mind before thinking of that again.
