I am thinking about getting a new airbrush. been contemplating on the Iwata line. They any good?

Is the Pope South American?

Yep they're dang good. Iwata Revolution CR from the Brothers of Sprue for under a C note.

Could any of you two please tell me if the part of the air line that goes onto the airbrush is a 1/4 inch fitting please?

Simply put, I bought an Iwata HP-BC2 from the original Pearl Paint on Canal Street back in 1984. I'm using it this afternoon. Still all original, even the needle.

Last year I bought another just so I could have a gravity feed for figure painting (smaller amounts and quicker color switch). The design and quality is unchanged.

I'll check later on the coupling size, but I believe it's the same as Badger. I have a cheapo Badger I use for shooting dry pigments and glues and I pretty sure all the hoses are the same.

If you do buy, take a look at Chicago Airbrush, they were outstanding in price and service.

Love my Iwata . I have an adapter for mine as I still use the Badger air line. Looks a bit bigger than 1/48 to me .

Hobby Lobby carries some Iwatas. Guess you could see one there.

Cheers, Christian B)
