Hi Everyone,
I recently bid on and purchased a couple of shadowbox dioramas. These were from the collection of Ralph Koebemann and included works from Shep Paine, Bob Letterman, Lewis Pruneau etc. I got a hold of a couple that didn't seem to come with a placard and I can't find a makers mark on them anywhere. In talking with Susan Letterman it sounds like these came from Miniature World way back when. Does anyone recognize these and happen to know the maker?
First shadowbox is Cannon Foundry 18th Century "Clearing the casting pit".
Second large shadow box has no name or markings however it was tagged "ready the gun". I might be willing to part with this one as it doesn't fit in my space.
Anyway - what i'm really looking for is some history on these pieces if anyone has any. Thanks in advance!
