If it was me I would use silly putty for masking. Work light to dark.

So what kinda Panzer is that, a IV R something?

Silly putty would work just fine for masking but as long as the edges of the camo pattern are soft edged it might be just as easy to freehand airbrush the camo scheme.

I was looking around for images of the VK 16.02 prototype paper panzer,and found this.
