I was out with my camera this morning and as I passed by the park, I decided to take a few shots of our Veterans Memorial. With the holiday coming up I thought this a good time to share them with you.

Thanks for sharing.
I like the shark-mouth and the bird. "Not Scared".
Where is your park located (town and/or state) ?

Cheers,

Bill

PS I'll echo Bill, where is this park located?

DOH!!!! Sorry guys.

This is in Bristol, Va/Tn. Don't let the states fool you, Bristol sits in both Virginia and Tennessee. The state line runs right through the middle of the city.

We are also the home of NASCAR's Bristol Motor Speedway. An interesting place this little city in the mountains.

Nice photos. Oregon seems to be lacking in these parks. It felt like when I drove to Texas from Oregon those parks like that were everywhere.

Reminds me of my build campaign idea I had a while back. Build a kit as a memorial, just as it sits in real life. Gate Guard Campaign I think it was.

Great pictures Greg, We still need to meet up in Asheville some time. It's midway for both of us and striking distance for the Boiling Springs contention of the SOBs model club. :mpup
