Got any better pics of that carrier on the right side of that pic Warren? Is it the Bonaventure?

Congrats on the award. Well deserved!

I remember that Cat Warren congratulation on the win (y) (y) (y)

Some pretty nice entries for such a small event :good:

And a 1/1 Swordfish . How cool is that ?

You picked up some interesting items as well . French floater and Japanese aircraft (y) (y)

Sort of wishing my Sally was closer to the top of my list . Some interesting paintjobs possible . Oh well :popcorn

Thanks for posting the pictures . Cheers, Christian B)

Thanks again everyone!

Dave, it is a model of the Bonaventure, though I didn't get a picture of it. I believe that is a permanent display at the museum (the model show was upstairs). I live about 5 min away so if you are interested, I can easily pop back and snap a few pics.

Thanks Christian!

I believe this swordfish is one of four in Canada. It last flew in the early 90's. It's a Mk.IV. Was a Mk.II but was converted. Certainly a bigger aircraft than I would have expected in person! It must have been something to watch them take off from a carrier deck!

I've never seen one but from building a couple of them they appear to be very large .

I was also surprised last year upon seeing my first Tempest . Much larger than I had imagined :woohoo:

Cheers, Christian
