If you haven't seen these before, I think they are really cool! WW II images superimposed onto modern photographs from the same location.

Enjoy!

That is fantastic. History brought home.
We walk in the footsteps of ghosts.
Great find.

Thanks.

They really blew me away Bill,

Somebody spent a sizable amount of time both photographing and Photoshopping.

Very cool stuff,Bob!
Maybe the tourists are not so happy with the idea that they are on the same picture as 'bad uncle Adolf'. :D

Greetings,Ron.

History preserved can be a strange thing- my brother married in a small church in Camden SC in 1995, during the Civil War - Sherman and his troops used the church for a stable during their march through the South. The floor was mostly original and in some places you could clearly see the shoe prints embedded in the floor from the Union horses- eerie to say the least.

I just love it when history comes and touches us at some unexpected times.

I think they are wonderful and very artistic

I love the Berlin ones as I have been walking in their footsteps and stood on the very spots in the photos

Thanks for posting these up Bob
