Thanks Bob, I use Future under for adhesion and over for protection on all my decals on every build, this is the only method for applying decals successfully without silvering - for me anyway!

Interestedly the stencil decals worked better on the metal finish paint much better without Future under them, it stained the paint on the first two, so all the rest were applied with just water then when rolled dry with a damp Q-Tip, Future went over = perfect.

If I was not stuck in WW II builds I believe this is what I would be doing.
