during the second world war the axis decided to bomb anything on and around our islands
on one occasion their propoganda machine triumphantly declared that the great warship HMS ST ANGELO HAD BEEN SUNK in the grand harbour. obviously the british denied this as a blatant lie. when challenged to produce photos of the ship the british obliged
