Tristar Sdkfz 222 1/35 WIP

Suggestions? Well..... since your offered, the spare wheel cover looks fantastic, with a nice pin wash around all the seams, but I think, ...maybe..., they would have slopped whitewash on that too. It would be a shame to cover it up, but I would apply some white to it. The mud and weathering might do the trick to tie it in. Just my 2 cents.

Hi Guys, Hi Bill
Thank you for your compliments. For to reproduce the winter camo the work is very easy with laquer method.
Bill, yes, your suggestions are perfect, and I will reproduce the winter camo on the spare wheel cover as you suggestion. (y)

Hi guys
Yesterday and today I'm work on my 222, I have sprayed a base coat in upper surface of 222 with vallejo color, for simulate the russian terrain in winter.
After this step I have prepared the mud with Mig pigment russian heart, polifylla, fine sand, white glue and water. The mud was applied with old brush on all lower chassis and fenders of my 222.
I have maked some signs in white on spare wheel cover as the suggestion of Bill in precedent post.
Suggestions and criticism are welcome
bye bye
mike :)

Very cool. Did you glue the wood together before glueing to the card board? I really want to make a building for a diorama I had in mind and this would really help. What will you use to thatch the roof? The figures are very very well done. (y) (y) (y) (y)
