Towing question

What was used for towing the 12.8-cm-Kanone 43 bzw. 44 (Krupp)?

Is it the Famo here or can i do with some smaller halftrack or soviet artillery tractor :idonno

From what I can see it needs something that can pull almost 22500 pounds.

IIRC, the SdKfz 8 was the intended prime mover for the 12.8 cm Kanone. They had a towing capacity of 12-14 tons depending on the model. The towed anti-tank gun design was terminated during field trials as it was found to cumbersome to deploy. Efforts turned to mounting it on the Jagdtiger, Maus & E-100.
