Tilly mad!

Hi guys
My name is Mike Shackleton and I've been interested in military vehicles from the year dot.
I've been modelling since my dad showed me how to when I was a kid - much like most of you I guess.

In recent years I've become more involved by designing all of Barbarossa Books publications - i run a small design company - and even to the extent of writing the Leopard 1 Trilogy. From one extreme to another, I also help to run The Tilly Register having become interested in them when i bought a Hillman Tilly back in 1999. Before that I had a Ferret Mark 1. The Tilly has now gone but my interest in them is stronger than ever.

Regards
Mike Shackleton

Hey Mike
Will be great to have a expert eye cast upon a new release; I expect to see some Tamiya Tillys a poppin with accuracy now ;)
Welcome on board

WElcome aboard Mike, I don't know what the world you just said but sounds interesting. Never heard of a Tilly till the other day. Now you're bringing up Ferrets?

No Moon Pup , they are not the type you put down your pants  ! (Forgive him Mike , he seems to think he can defy gravity !)

Barbarossa Books eh? That is where I know your name from!

;)

While British softskins don't really interest me, their armoured cars do(yes, I respectfully added the extraneous 'u' we Americans frugally save)!

Welcome Mike.

Regards,

Hi Mike.

Welcome to T&T. It's a great site full of really nice people, and me . It will be cool having another expert here for us all to have someone we can ask so many questions of.
