A Hasegawa Thunderbolt I've had on the go this year. Its now ready for weathering. The decals are from the Xtradecal series "Yanks with Roundels".

I know you already have your references but is this the same unit of the one I saw in RAF Museum?

I want to do this one one day just because the palm tree. Resembles our Palmetto.
 
The museum one is in 30 Sqn markings. They flew them from Feb 44 to Jul 46 when they converted to Tempests.
