The incompetence of the mail system

Sprue Brothers had one of Eduard's dual combo spitfire kit as deal of the day.

I need to apply for a job with a mail carrier company , draw a check and fk peoples stuff up and no consequences what so ever.

They completely smashed this kit. Both clear sprues are completely ruined and so are numerous plastic sprues.

Waiting on SB to see what we will do as this was a Deal of The Day and now out of stock.

I have had my local mail delivery moron actually take a Sharpie marker and mark on a couple of my Fine Scale magazines in the past.

About 18 years ago I ordered my small mill from an ebay seller. It was shipped in a CRATE. It arrived by UPS with a little wood attached to the bottom and wrapped up like a mummy in a thick wad of saran type wrap. Luckily no major damage though I needed some replacement handles and nothing appeared to be missing.

All the carriers do it. If the morons were smart enough to do something else they wouldn't be delivery persons.

Dang, that stinks. Our USPS is no better. Driver crushed the last box so it would fit in the mailbox. Broke all 5 figures in the box.

I guess I am lucky as I have never had a kit destroyed in the mails, that I can recall. I have had paint bottles broken but never a kit. UGH!

Hopefully they can at least get replacement sprues for the damaged parts if they can't source a replacement kit.

Good thing ordering from a company like SB is they will take care of you. Soon as they get another order in I will have my replacement kit coming.

I had an instance with SB where they packed a set of the printed 3D Quintos instrument panel decals in a flat cardboard envelope. Of course with that there was damage to a bit of the raised detail. I contacted them and they shipped out a new set in a box the second time. I try and order from SB, Andy's, Free Time, and Cult TV Man as well as spend a bit at my local shop. I do try and spread the $$ around though this year I have been a lot tighter than in the past.
