The Duke's MMM Entry for 2026

[Duke Maddog]

Hey all, I finally decided what I was going to do for this month. This is my model:

Naturally, I started with the chassis as usual for vehicles like this:

I then built up half of the main body so I could paint the interior:

Painting then commenced, first on the assembled parts and secondly the other parts still on the sprues:

The other half of the body was then added, along with some other detail parts:

That's as far as I got on this. Stay tuned for more....

Okay, here's my final update. After getting the interior painted and dry, we closed it all up:

This led to it getting painted a basecoat:

Later the camouflage pattern was added and then the decals were applied:

Finally, the windows and final details were added, including the P/E screens on the headlight guards:

This little bus is now done. Pics going up in the Finished Thread.


Now to go try and remember how to add a badge, my first one in probably a decade!
