Dug out some pictures of a Tamiya Type 90 I built a few years ago. It has since fallen victim to the Clawed Anti-Tank System (CATS).
The vehicle is from the 3rd Co, 71st Regt, 7th Div on Hokkaido. Camouflage netting is gauze bandage with parsely flakes. Tarps in the turret rack are tissue and white glue. The base is a Dollar Store plaque built up and contoured with foam board insulation and covered with Celluclay and static grass. The longer grass is yellow polyethylene rope painted with a rough, thin coat of green.
Reading forums when I was building the kit, the original release only included a 3 man load crew. Tamiya was raked over the coals by JGSDF members for that and re-released it with the proper 5 man crew.
Cheers,
Rich
