I thought it'd be a bit different and more unusual.

I'll be mixing a number of partsfrom the original kit figures with other parts to build a gun crew for tthe gun in action.

I got the kits opened and the images taken and posted. ;<) That's a start -- of sorts.

Tomorrow I start building.

Well, the gun is started. I've cemented the breech halves together; the barrel halves together, the muzzle brake halves together and set those three subassemblies aside to cure. After I cement the three subassemblies to each other I will be drilling out the exhaust ports on the muzzle brake, the join between the muzzle brake and the barrel and the join between the breech and the barrel so that if looking down the barrel daylight can be seen at the end. Here are two images showing where I'm at now.
