T-34/76 - Tamiya 1/35 WIP

Well there is more to Model building then building planes...
I love those oldie Tamiya tank models... they fit perfectly and there inst too much expectations about it!!

I was eager to do a T-34 ... but my dad (yes!! my 52 year old Dad is a modeler has well... my daughter is 8 months old but I hope that in 5 years she will be helping me has well... with photoetched parts specially ... hihihihi ) wanted to build it has well (Know that I recall the kit was from my dads stash... LOL).

So what I was trying to say is that all the credits regarding the build go to my dad ... I just did the paint Job!! Still there is a long way to go need to take care of tracks and weathering... right now its on hold... enough talk and lets go to the photos...

Minor changes I made in this build!!!

- Green Filter using thinned oil paint
- Painted a tool box in a different green
- Painted wood box (using different types of brown and gave it a wash with burnt sienna oils)
- Painted some smoke on the engine

Its a very nice model!! Really enjoy working with it!!!
If you are going to get one of this I recommend you buy some new tracks!!!
I'm in the process of finding them... but really dont know if I'm going to buy them... depends on the price!!!

Still there's a lot of work to do ... like more filters and more weathering !!!
Did you like it?? Any ideas??? feel free to comment and let me know!

I like it!! Very neat and clean paint work, hopefully it will get nice and dirty soon. :D

Do the fuel drums come damaged like that or is that your Dad's handiwork?
