Hi Mats
Looking really good ,I have not done much in the armour / tracked vehicle department ,those tracks scare me to death :rotf ,are you going to put into dio or just stand alone did notice the child figure.
Keep up the great work
Chris :drinks

Found a nice anhanger so i do a little work on the generator for the search light, the light i will put on the flatbed of this SwS and the generator towed behind it :) just doing something i feel looks ok not historically correct (atleast what i know, but it could have been like this).

Attached the base to the generator with 2 M2 screws

The anhanger is from Dragon

I think it's a very cool idea. Field modification! Who knows what all was done during the war.

Thanks for posting!

Had to add a piece of plastic to make the frame fit

And it's ready for paint (the anhanger, the generator still needs a little TLC)

Fixing the fan installation on the generator, in the kit it's just a square cover on the front, but on pics i've found you see a round net with a fan behind so i decided to make that version.

The fan from the sd.kfz.8 fit perfect and theres a net to for the radiator (y) (i don't use it on the halftrack because you never see it!)

Drilled out the hole with a wood drillbit, just twisting it by hand

The fan and the net

It will show up nice when painted i think :hmmm

Got to start with some painting and it's going pretty good, no big setbacks so far (nothing that a tarp can't cover) :D

the searchlight painted, waiting for chipping.

Std. Anhänger for the generator, also waiting for weathering

Generator, German grey with some lighter shades (not sure it's showing)

The flatbed of the SwS starting to look like something now :woohoo:

yes the lower part will stay red primer, supposed to be a late war vehicle, a little "what if" scenario.

Did some chipping on the trailer and the searchlight, will go over and adjust a little bit where it's needed and then a wash maybe to soften things up and bring some variation :hmmm

Here you see the generator in place to, just need the cable reel put in place then it's ready to.
