Just so you guys won't think I've abandoned Life among the living. Lots of thing have gone on since I last posted. Least of which involved a tree falling on my house.
Things are getting back to normal now but we're still trying to working on getting back in stride. Anyhow I was moving some things around in the basement a couple of weeks ago and ran across this "old" kit hiding in the shadows. The box was musty and molded, and stank to the heavens. Straight to the trash can was my first thought. Out of curiosity, I opened the box up and sure enough the instructions were in bad shape the decals were covered in mildew but the plastic was okay. So what does one do with a 40 year old kit thats spent half its life in a dank old basement?
BUILD IT!
I'm giving to my 4 year old grandson as a ceiling hanger. He's crazy about anything that flies.....
I just put it together and painted it with rattle cans. The decals are the kits, wiped off with bleach to kill the mildew, and adhered with Future. I'm surprised the even came off the sheet.
Anyway, Me and the missus are fine, and as I can spare some bench time and forum time you'll see more of me in the future.
