Doing some research on the battle for Arnhem,for my Stug,I found this:

Wow! I had seen something similar around the Pegasus bridge landing area. Also interesting is how much of the land is still used as farm versus wooded area.

I remember reading Cornelius Ryan's book A Bridge Too Far and it had photos of the landing sites taken (IIRC) in the 1960's and you could see the ghostly images of the gliders still appearing on the sites.
