It's not going to stop snowing anytime soon from the looks of it so I might as well build something.
Not my normal table fare but what the heck. :idonno

Saw one of these things up-close at the Artillery Museum in St. Petersberg, and it really is as imposing as you'd think.

Carry-on, Tony :popcorn

Monday Update

I think my elcheapo camera is about to give up the ghost on me.
I started on the gun but while waiting on sub assemblies to dry I went to work on the tow carriage.

A lot more of the gun is complete I just didn't take a picture of it all.

I bet it will need to be on a base or else it's nose over city. :hmmm

Rain changing to snow on the way :bang head

Dang this thing has a lot of tiny parts but I ask for it huh
Thanks for coming by the shop folks

Update:

It was pretty late when I shut down so I waited to take pictures until today.

Setting up for fire mission

Just a few more things to install or dress up and construction will be complete.

We got to see a little bit of the ground yesterday but it was covered again this morning.
Freezing rain, sleet and then snow on top. God how I love global warming :D

Went to work in a blizzard today. One thing about the climate in Missouri it changes every two or three days. The big gun is looking good.
