I hate that, I really liked that man also . Only general that ever struck me to be a real life human being.

Rest well sir

A great American! I remember him saying that he wanted to pick his own nickname- Bear- but it looks like he got stuck with Stormin' Norman. Sounds better, anyway. Salute! :soldier

Wow, definitely the loss of a very fine general, and a very fine man.

Stormin Norman is the name I always heard, don't know that I've ever heard him referred do as Bear.

I was wondering where he was just the other day. Figure he was doing speaking tours or something.

Reading about Operation Urgent Fury, invasion of Grenada, did not realize he was the Deputy Commander of the strikeforce.

The truth of the matter is that you always know the right thing to do. The hard part is doing it

R.I.P general Schwarzkopf.
I will always remember his press conferences during the Gulfwar on CNN.

Verlinden productions ones did a 120mm figure based on him;

Greetings,Ron.

RIP General.

Having read his book years ago, I think he was more a soldier, as opposed to some Generals who are more politicians. And I think that's a good thing!
