We are soooooo doomed , about a foot on the ground and this aint supposed to stop till noon Sunday .
White -out conditions and steady 30 - 40 mph winds , gusting up to 50 mph or so .
So far power's still on but flickerin and brown - outin like crazy .
Already had to redo this a couple a times as I keep gettin knocked of cuz of the power outages .

Got plenty of booze , beans , bandages and bullets , wood stove is crankin and it's about 78 degrees inna house so I guess I'll just have to stay in my room and build .

They just switched our forecast from being too north and only getting about 1-3 inches to now the 8-12 range. :idonno

Just started about an hour ago.

Got the shovels, got the salt, got the beer, got the Revell Type VII, got the sense to stay home.

We've gotten a dusting, if it were a school day they wouldn't call it off. I bet it'll be gone by noon.
Can you model by candlelite?

Be Safe guys!

Direct from beautiful downtown Boiling Springs, NC...

Bleah!

Stay warm, Glenn! Sending zen your way. :zen :zen :drinks

Keep a look out for Turkeys. I saw some across the road this AM. Dang things are everywhere now.

I flew in to DC in 2002 (?) when they had 48 inches of snow on the ground in Bowie MD. 12 Landrovers, parked, and covered with snow, but no one at the Land Rover training center used them. :frantic At least the power stayed on for that week. I rented a Ford Focus, and applied my midwest winter driving skills.
It were a mess!

I lack the ability to warm your homes. :facepalm
Perhaps a bit of Cuban Pete to warm your funnybone? :rotf

Yeah it's already gone here. Not calling for any more.

Here, take a look at a South Carolina snow man, about the best we can muster.
