This is the house I grew up in.
scan0003.jpg

the single story side was build about 1880 or so, records are not clear. The house was picked up and turned 90degrees and the two story side was added when the inlaws moved in. That was done about 1920 or so. It was fun growing up in that house, it's slated to be demolished when Mom moves out later this year and the local university takes over that property.

John, couple of my ancestors may have put those musket balls in that tree...no offense. :mpup

That was a lot of snow compared to what I've seen around here, hope we don't get that much again!!

yeah but notice the total lack of snow on the roof, I think that's the year Dad got the attic insulated!

I was getting grouchy at our sixth anniversary party because the wife cut me off the beer:

That's me- the surly kid in the Detroit t-shirt. My happy band of outcasts, circa 1973 in cenrtal New Jersey. I was an armor builder at the time- all of these guys were modelers to some extent or other.

Long ago, in a galaxy far far away.

Looking good, AgentG,

This is me and my wife Susan a couple of years before I retired from The St. Louis police department. I was assigned to the Special Investigation Unit, (S.I.U.) of the Circuit (Prosecuting) Attorney's office. I retired in 1985 to run VLS full time at 44. This was taken at the Missouri State Fair. I was there with Circuit Attorney George Peach and his wife, The mayor of St. Louis, Vince Schoemehl and his wife. I was 42 here and Susan was 37. Found these pics while rummaging a couple of days ago!
