Maybe someone's already done this thread on here before, but I didn't see one and I always like to see what other people's modelling work areas look like. I get almost as much inspiration to build sometimes by seeing others modellers' "natural habitat" as much as I do others models.

So, to start it off, here's my work area. I share the room with my wife's art desk and her art supplies. The little stack of models is a collection of modern AFVs that I'm getting together...

...while the rest of the stash is in the closet. Right now, I have 156 unbuilt kits, which is about the number my little collection has hovered around for a few years now.

My hope for the future is a house with a two car garage, a slightly bigger living room, and a hobby room that I can put a paint booth in! Right now I'm relegated to airbrushing on the front porch with the outdoor cats, which can be interesting at times.

So, what does your modelling workspace look like?

Congrats David!

I've never seen a modelling space that neat and organized!

I could sure use you in mine!

Hey Ryan, what kind of modelin' tool is that double barreled slingshot back there? :blink

:mpup
you would be amazed! That is one of three clothes racks of my wife's The basement is divided in 4 equal parts. Each is roughly 14x14. One is the laundry area, the other on that side is Heidi's sewing and painting area. The other two are my hobby workshop and the other is my tool workshop.

Lucky to have a basement, I think I would have more time if my workbench was actually in the house.

Yeah it's messy , but I like to think of it as lived in .............

The wife calls it my own private Idaho ............... I keep tellin her she's daho ............
