Sherman 18's Nam builds so far

Sherman 18

Master at Arms
I have to admit that I have not done a Vietnam model in sometime. I'm really getting up for the Charlie Don't Surf group build. Here is some I have done in the past. Maybe someone can get excited about the group build too.

I don't remember what this version is called. It is the Tamiya M113 and Verlinden conversion with scratch built shields.

These last two photos were taken by a friend for an ad for the LHS in Denver

I think I like the third one up, interesting streaking going on. Did I see you do a WIP on that one somewhere?

I don't know what time frame you have here but I think I can see a progression in your weathering skills.

Thanks Sherman! While I never join Group Builds (I learned that I never finish them on time), I do have the Sharkmouth M48A3 as a future project. I am just hoping a new Patton kit comes out.

This web site has so many of the photos I'll need as reference (in case you want to try another version with a mouth):

If I follow silently, I will either work on the PACV which I shelved or the Aussie Centurion. I may post photos under the incomplete build thread title. Who knows, perhaps I will finally clear out the garage/workshop and find the box with the new compressor I bought in 2008 but never opened! FYI, Michael's Craft Stores had a 50% off coupon at that time.

Regards,

Sweet collection, Shermie
I'm psyched for the group build, too. I can't stand to see my Academy ACAV with Fruil tracks and Legend's accessory kit just sitting there starring at me. The postman has already delivered 17 of the 18 Bravo-6 and Evolution figures and they're screaming "Build me!"
By the way, the new Evolution 'Nam figures are just as sharp as the Bravo-6 series. They blend together perfectly.
Peace and Love,
Randy
