Ok, I know its lame, but the real name would give it away way too
soon. hmy: Those of you that know me, know this is going to way out there
and the only thing you will get today it the basic "I'm in" picture.
I promise it won't be disappointing. :woohoo: Most of the dio will be scratch
build (another big surprise right)/ :laugh:
I'm sure that no one (or at least no one in his/her right mind) will be
doing anything like it.
Only one person on TnT knows the basic design, so if it leaks out I'll know
who to send the "Phoenix Project" guys after to extract my revenge.
This is so "black ops" classified, that most if not all of the pictures won't be
out until the mission is completed. (Which shouldn't be too long) I hope.
Sorry, but if you knew about this operation, I'd have to shoot you. hmy:
I will be starting with the old Dragon Viet Cong set. (That's Mister Victor Charlie
to you)...

Some nice figures to work with Shawn .

I just ordered some bits and pieces for my diorama from Mecmodels who do some nice Vietnamese signs which may give some real atmosphere to your diorama !

I first found out about them when seeing Marcus Nichols superb Citroen diorama in an article in Tamiya Model Magazine , there are photomagraphs of it on the site too .

James, great to see you here. Can't wait to see what you have in
store for us...
Num, Thanks for posted the how to on the Banana tree. Sorry I didn't
get a chance to comment on it earlier... Would love to have some in
my dio, but... (Oops, almost let the cat out of the bag).
Jenny, my project is hard corps under way, but I can't post any
updates until it is done, or it would spoil the surprise (and you know
me, I like to make things fun and exciting). I promise I won't let
you down... I got a lot done on it during the week and at last
nights "Friday" meeting at Fred's. His guidance and experience is
taking me down a road that I've never been down, but it seems to be
coming along well. Since he flew with the Army over in Vietnam his
knowledge and stories are keeping me fired up for this build.

Went to the IPMS Seattle meeting today and picked up a Dragon SEAL
team set (Don't go looking for them here, as they won't be seen
in this scene. :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil:
