Progress of today, had some quality benchtime and got a lot of things done.
The following 3 axle holders? are coming along.

The big hook is also in production

Note that there are two models, the one above using a jack and the one below a screw and has a shield along with rail buffers to eliminate the kick back from the rails as the ties are ripped.

Saul i rescaled the drawings for the papermodel, took some tries but i finally got it out in the right size, if you print them out in 95% then it's pretty close to 1/35 scale, if you don't mind the airbubble i can make you a set of wheels

Yesterday i got the reinforcment plates done, drilled holes for the rivets and then glued in styren strip and sanded off.

Here comes the pics! :woohoo:
The hook is done and just waiting for the rest to get finnished and then a splash of paint :coolio

The tip of the hook has a curved triangle shape so i cut out pieces of 0,2 sheet styren
and glued it to the sides.

When dry "just" shape it to the form of the hook.

And finally i made the plates where it is attached to the platform.

And i couldn't resist to put the parts of the locomotive together just for a look how it will be

Found out one thing that is missing on my drawings, you can see it in this pic, support plates against the trains "buffers" (also note on this one how the adjustment screw is missing! still works good though )
