Revell Unimog 1/35 scale

Hi all,

This forum was recommended by a user on FineScale forums.

The idea: Transforming the 1300 to 1700L Aussie Version

I'm doing this kit for a friends birthday, small diaroma setup. Looking for help in the following:

1. Areas of conversion to Australian built Unimog 1700 L.

2. Aftermarket parts. (I believe there are none)

Saw an old post from an Aussie a while back on FineScale forums, but it was incomplete. Have the reference from http://www.mheaust.c...imog/Unimog.htm for starters and looking for things that aren't as obvious as swapping the cabin layout and extending the length.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers

Marcus

OK, birthday come and gone but I did manage to create something.

Not entirely happy with it and ran out of time towards the end.

The kit was hard to work with, lots of flashing and misalignments plus some clear parts missing. In the end I found what I had built was alright, but I might give it another go in the future.

I'll post some in the finished models section but here's the link for those interested:

Cheers and happy modelling.
