Re: Battleships...... Bismarck, & Tirpitz.....
no!
Bismarck changed camo several times and how you paint Bismarck is dependent on what timeframe you choose to depict ...
there's a discussion going on about the turret tops - rumors go that in the final days Bismarck had yellow tops on main and secondary gun turrets and some say that the tops were painted red - that is unlikely since red turret tops were normally used on trials and fleet maneuvres only ... the turret top colors - yellow, red or grey - are the only open questions existing on paint schemes nowadays ...
there are some very well researched paint schemes displayed here:
Bismarck paint schemes introduction
1940
1941
1941 - Rheinübung
the armament layout of Bismarck is also of quite some significance on what paint scheme you want to use:
Bismarck armament layout
same goes for Tirpitz:
1941
1942
1943
1944
Tirpitz armament layout
i cannot recommend the page listed above enough - the makers of that page have dedicated years of research into german capital ships of ww2 and are absolute specialists on the topic ...
So I can paint the Bismarck any color I want, as long as it is gray
