Problems with my airbrush!

sharkman

Master at Arms
Or more particular, with the company.

I've been trying to order a new fine needle for my Renegade Krome. It is a simple enough part for $12 (I found on Web Air Brushes) but the shipping is crazy, $43!!

I've written to Badger and to web air brushes to see if there is any way it can be shipped cheaper but have had zero responses. I've always thought Badger had a great rep, anyone else ever run into any issues with them?

I think that shipping cost is a little nuts for a part like that. I've had large model kits shipped for much less than that!

WTF? Where do you live, Lower Slabovia? I have always had the greatest success with Badger. I sent them a messed up AB and within a month I had it back. Call them!

I sent three in at once and got them all back in like 2 weeks. Hope something hasn't happened to them. All Badgers are under lifetime warranty, all you have to do is send it to them with a note about whats wrong and they will fix it.

Shipping stuff from the States up to Canada isn't what it used to be. A lot of companies are now insisting on shipping stuff Priority Mail International so that there is tracking and insurance because of all the scammers who order stuff and then claim it never arrived. Does seem very excessive for a small package though.

Just on the east coast of Canada. I'll try giving them a call this week. I'm just surprised that after a little over a week no one has replied to my email.

I'll try and give them a call. I stupidly was rushing to get it back together and bumped the tip of the fine needle and bent it. Otherwise it's working fine! I thought it wouldn't be much trouble to just order a new needle.

I can understand that but this does seem quite excessive for what it is!

Is this the one?
