Post-WW2 Royal Canadian Navy Seafire and Sea Fury

Hi there.

Once in a while I take a break from figures, tanks and soft-skin wheeled vehicles and build aircraft.

Here are two of my Royal Canadian Navy aircraft as they would have appeared during the 1950's. One is the 1/48 scale Hobby Craft Supermarine Seafire and the other is the 1/48 scale Hobby Craft Hawker Sea Fury. The Hobby Craft Hawker Sea Fury kit with the R.C.N. decals does *NOT* come with the under-wing rockets or bombs. Hobby Craft was very nice after I called them and they sent me those items from their Korean War Hawker Sea Fury kit at no charge.

All painting was by brush and I used Folk Art acrylic paints throughout for both models.

Cheers from Peter

Nice looking aircraft, they could use a top coat to help with those decals blending in some. And the tail wheel on the Sea Fury looks backwards, maybe they just pushed it back in place and it didn't setting back around. Those are sharp lookin birds though!
