Pirate Skull

I've had this half complete for a while now. I don't remember who makes it, I think Verlinden. I drilled a hole in the vertebra and used an aluminum rod to hold them in place and give me a way to mount the skull. The skull will be holding a dagger in his teeth.

Very good item, way different from the normal.
This is a very interesting subject, I see it as a good piece to accomplish various painting techniques and forms, this I will follow ... :popcorn .

Oh you guys are hilarious! I think I'm done with him but as I look at the knife blade I'm wondering if I should put a rust wash on it. What do y'all think? By the way, the blade was done with a steel buffing powder from Uschi van der Rosten.

Wow! I was wondering who picked up those buffing powders when that SnJ closed shop. Looks great, would hate to rust that but you'd think it would be.

Fantastic job. (y)
