I use the powerslide tire decals http://www.mikesdecals.com/product_info.php?cPath=8_14&products_id=169

first sand the tire down. next wipe off with lacquer thinner. then soap and water. next wipe on a coat of future. stick decal on and use micro sol, heat up with hair dryer. when set up, wipe on one more coat of future.

add weathering on it, I use oil paint for it. then seal with flat varnish of your choice. I use the one by Grumbacher since its a huge can and can be had with a 50% off coupon at Micheals.

Ah, from Costco huh...that stuff looks handy for lots of things...

Always love watching your builds, great work SS!!!

Nice job on the Petty Sportsman car. Now all you need to do is to get the other Dart Sport (Duster style body) short track model that AMT/Ertl did in the Millenium series to complete the series. Really cool job.

Brilliant - see I changed my normal very dark blue font colour for 'Petty Blue' as a tribute !!
