Just a note to remember this day.

I was thinking last night just how many of the survivors there are today. Can't find a clear answer.

I broke from all tradition this year. I didn't make it to the Memorial service and we've been so sick, I fell asleep before any "Tora, Tora, Tora!" could be viewed. I failed my mates and my Nation.

Sadly enough, no mention on the lame stream media, at least not that I saw. Heck, most kids today wouldn't even know what they were talking about anywho.

Excellent post, Rhino!

Well, we wouldn't want to hurt anyone's tender feelings remembering Pearl Harbor, The Alamo, Gettyburg, Vicksburg, The Ia Drang valley,
The Battle of Leyte Gulf would we? PBS is a little less woke than Disney, I'm sure that's why there's no audio. I still listen to NPR in the bathroom. It's to hear what our enemies are crying about now. Public radio's content is similar to what I send to the septic tank.

It's very sad how little coverage the attack on Pearl Harbor gets on the national TV news level. I feel it's the same way with June 6th 1944 D-Day, both very important parts of history.

When was the last time you heard a peep about the Battle of Midway from the woke mainstream media? Without the Midway victory, there would have been no D-Day. :oldguy::salute:
