Another shark... If you don't make it by year's end, I wonder if the powers that be will let you move it to Face-It?

Regards,

Re: PB4 Y-2 "Privateer" - Revell - 1/72

Dude!!! Bomber Command ends like what...Sunday?

Why not do it for Face It? But then you'd probably put it off till the last couple of days so...

Well, continue
this holidays was worst than i thought...
The work almost don't progress.
You know, my girlfriend was here, then :stinker

I just was able to take some parts form the sprues
and prepare to receive the paint. That was the ones who will take a "interior" paint:
011.jpg

follow the instructions the color will be 80% leaf green, silky-matt + 20% yellow, gloss :hmmm
almost all the paints will be a mixture :bang head

I'll try do it tomorrow, I hope :idonno

In meanwhile, I put some image's to help to get some "inspiration"... :pilot

Cheers, :mpup
and thanks for watching!

Re: PB4 Y-2 "Privateer" - Revell - 1/72

Don't need to mix. You can use Tamiya Yellow Green (XF-4) and Tamiya Cockpit Green (XF-72). These should take of the interior paint.

Re: PB4 Y-2 "Privateer" - Revell - 1/72

Terry, thanks for the tips...
looking trought your advice, I found one color here, that fits.
I use an acrilic paint, from a labor call Acrilex. Here in Brazil sometimes it's really expensive find and buy model paints. So we use paint destinated to normal fine arts and handicrafts.

here is the result to interior paint:

I wasn't able to make a great job, but I glad that :soldier ...

Privateer002.jpg

so let's get back to the "Privateer" :woohoo:

Well, I'd promisse to myself this year, work more in this great hobby.
Like a Friend of mine says:
"... I go to the workbench everyday, even if is to glue a little single piece..."
And this year it's what I want to do...

So here my progress:

Glue some parts
Privateer004.jpg

Had to fix a s***, :bang head , I confuse the versions intructions on manual. So i had to close the middle window. And the superior one I sanded too much, then i will have to remake that step
Privateer009.jpg

Privateer008.jpg

Here the middle one, will need a little more putty and some more sand. Them will be like a new one
Privateer012.jpg

And this, let's remake!!! :snoopy
Privateer011.jpg

The only problem will be remake the "lower line's"??? :idonno
ow you do that? I'm using a stiletto and a ruller

I'll try to take special attention at the paint, because make great details at 1/72 scale it's to maniac's :gogo :gogo :gogo

Cheers, and thanks for watching this humble building
