Excellent pics Sharkmouth! I'm going to attempt to do that, the casting numbersWhat does @Tim A. need? Apologies for not catching it but I am sure I have what is needed if I know what to look for.
By the way, at this scale, it should be easy to shave of sprue tree numbers and letters to create casting marks on the 'cast' items.

I had noticed I put a curved plate that hides the mufflers upside down on the rear. Managed to get it off and glued back on the right way. I'm doing the extended engine deck version. Photos are elusive.
Yeah thats a heat shield. I believe. Havent found any good pictures but there is this drawing from a Wynadecto <sp> book.Btw I realized I had the curved horizontal piece attached upside down on the rear hull plate. Not being familiar with the Panzer III I'm going to have to pay attention! It doesn't help that most of the assembly instructions diagrams during this phase of construction show the tank inverted. The Takom Panzer I kit did this too. Is this a Das Werk and Takom thing? It's a bit irritating when they could just as easily drawn it the right way up.
Yes, the Polish Wydawnictwo Militaria series. I can look at my Panzer Tracts series. Those are the most accurate plans.Wynadecto

That thought crossed my mind too. Sharkmouth may need to get a hold of that crew. The restoration could be wrong. I would trust original drawings/photos.
Looking closer at the pic of the real one the side shields are shorter as well. Which is why the stamped shield is at the angle it is.That thought crossed my mind too. Sharkmouth may need to get a hold of that crew.
