If my understanding is proper you splash model by Tamyia varnish (oil / enamel) after made wash?

If so, the blame for the situation bears Tamyia varnish - wash oil must by put on the acrylic and it protects by the acrylic varnish (the point is that the varnish does not enter into chemical reaction with the wash).

Now (if you want) you can try to mask it by applying a gray or sand filter (add to the varnish a few drops of paint and applied by brush).

Personally I'd leave as is - it looks pretty interesting.
