P-47D Razorback from Phillipines

Hello,

A few pictures of my 1/48th Tamiya P-47D Razorback flown by Lt. Art Marston from 311th FS. Later this AC was wrecked by Captain Jander (taking off with heavy load and malfuctioning flaps).

Paintjob: mix GSI Gunze, Alclad II and Tamiya paints, weathering with Tamiya markers. Decals from Super Scale but very modified decals.

Thank You guys! I am glad you like it, the "Jug" is my favorite WW2 fighter.

I should start soon (when I finish F-16 :java ) with late D version and also have to fiish the Academy P-47N.

Excellent work (as usual) and those first two pictures in B/W really show off how realistic looking this model is. :notworthy
