I love the space craft from 2001! I wish I still had my old Moon Bus, they have that now and two PE sets for the beast. Did anyone ever build a Discovery?

YES I did open the box!

Well this thing does not have many parts, so I just glued them together and started the filling and sanding

The green stuff is dental wax - those haven looked to my builds did remember this stuff. I'm using it a lot for filling.
 
just to proof I'm doing something - it got its base coat and the first white on to the back just to realize I first have to spray the inner parts of the wings black :)

OK, now the inside of the wings is black




and white outside again :)





if you dont think first you get an excuse for practice :)
