My what a big Discovery you have!sorry to hear that. Were they insured? I have mine covered in the house hold cover.

That's good to hear, yes that is the large Discovery.....can't remember the scale, 1/144 I thinkMy what a big Discovery you have!
We had coverage and basic structural repairs were complete by fall, 2024. Cosmetic repairs (Drywall finishing is lost on me.) continue. These had all been to shows and were awarded builds. No really good reason to make repairs, unless I wanted to fly them around some more.
It isn't Life & Death. They were just models.
We got a pretty good scare, but were thankfully unhurt.
These are great, You certainly are better at dioramas than Iam!View attachment 187763

These are my finished displays. I got no space in the house for them, that's why I got a shed, all her stuff is in the house.
You mean the ones on bases? You are far too kind, I've never really built a diorama. The Lulubelle display is about as close as I've gotten to one and I only just completed it. I do have one I'm working on.These are great, You certainly are better at dioramas than Iam!
That's neat, I could use some of them LOL!Last year the store I work at gave me the glass display case from the Waterford Crystal. This thing is about 7 ft tall and 2 ft square. When I finally fill the shelves up I have some ideas to add more shelves, just will need to make some metal supports and get some glass cut. I replaced the HOT halogens with some 5K LED lights that don't even get warm and added a power switch to the bottom box to turn the lights on and off easily.

I am plotting one with the 1/35 Hind, something from Afghanistan, I have all the pieces built, tanks, trucks and figures (thinking about the adding the 1/35 Mil 18, ) but really have no clue what to do, the Rhodesian BSAP was just a straight piece, nothing special .You mean the ones on bases? You are far too kind, I've never really built a diorama. The Lulubelle display is about as close as I've gotten to one and I only just completed it. I do have one I'm working on.
But thank you.
Looks like you have a thing for Mig21s. What's that twin tail dragger up in the corner?
The MIGs and the Sukhoi were sort of a Snacksadent. I have one more for some other day.View attachment 187813
