Oh look, another Sherman!

I thought I'd share my latest build. This is the Academy kit with a lot of scratch details and DML parts. It depicts a tank from the 2nd Marine Tank Battalion in Korea during fall of 1950. This actual tank was photographed later in the year at the Chosin Resevoir.















I used Tamiya paint with enamel and oil weathering. I tried the "reverse drybrushing" on the wear areas of the OD finish.

Very cool but why you sandbaggin on whatever it is you got on the front end?

LOL it's the dozer blade. I am not quite finished with this and gave no thought to including the blade in these snaps. I'll get some more posted asap. I went back to work last night so it might be a bit.

Here we are all finished! Gotcha a pic of that elusive dozer blade too. :laugh:

















This was a load of fun even with me working odd hours and sleeping all the time. I think I have done the kit and the subject justice.
